Maria Inc. is happy to curate an exhibition about photobooks within the festival “Rencontres du 10e” to be run in Paris from October 15th to October 24th at la Mairie du 10e in Paris.
Our exhibition “ Ping Pong: 30 Young photobooks vs. 30 Classics”. aims to create a free tree structure between the different categories of books that crossed and made history and the new vibrant publishing practices. We collected fanzines, DIY short edition, micro-edition thanks to an open call. All the classics will come from the Public Library of the Chateau d’Eau (Paris). All the photobooks will be donated to the Public Library of Chateau d’Eau.
